During the private coaching sessions, I will have my full attention on you, answering your questions or helping you get to the root of whatever is stopping you moving forward.

This might be getting help with the vocabulary, expressions and instructional language that you specifically need for what you do. It could be discussing ways of guiding and communicating with your students. Maybe you also want some one-on-one guidance on theming and sequencing in English.

Together we’ll set up a plan to achieve your objectives through the tools of reading, writing, listening and speaking. I might also have suggestions for your personal yoga practice, journalling  and personal development techniques.

Your Yoga and English Teacher

My name is Annie, I’m an English teacher and yoga teacher and I’m here to guide you on your professional journey of teaching yoga in English.  

I finished my first training with very little teaching practice, very little help from my school and simply didn’t know where to go next. I gave up on teaching yoga and I didn’t even practise it for about 6 months. I went back to teaching English because it felt comfortable, but also because it filled my heart with joy.

However I knew I wasn’t alone in feeling like giving up teaching yoga before I had even started. I knew I had to do something about this feeling of uncertainty we fall into after our teaching training. I wanted to fill up this gap: this void of insecurity and lack of practice, to help other teachers gain the confidence they need to succeed. 

And that’s what I do today; I help people like you and me gain the knowledge and confidence we need for teaching yoga in English effectively.

I took one to one classes during my summer holidays. Most of the time we spend talking as I wanted to improve my fluency, but we also revised grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary and English expressions. After, we continued with online skype classes, as I had to go back to my hometown.
