      About your teacher

I’m Annie, an English and yoga teacher. After overcoming a severe eating disorder, I went travelling to improve my English. Yoga helped me lose my fear of being judged, allowing me to express myself the way I truly wanted to.

Soon, I had the confidence to complete my English teaching certificate (CELTA) and 500h YTT in English, preparing myself to teach international yogis and English learners like you and me.

At Enga, I share the techniques that have helped me in my English, yoga and self-development journey so you too can gain the skills and experience you feel you don’t have yet.

My story is not yours, but our challenges are very similar. Let me help you find the tools you can use to become a more confident, secure and knowledgeable multilingual yoga teacher.

      Testimonials

Annie does an amazing job setting the tone by integrating the theme into the yoga practice. She helps the mind and body to become open and allow the messages to sink in through the movements! Her energy is soothing and encouraging giving you the confidence to try new things on the mat and reminding us that "our bodies are much more capable then our minds think". I wish could have Annie back in America teaching!

For me meditation is a great way to bring peace to my mind. Yoga is moving meditation. During the quarantine, I started practising yoga with Annie from Enga, and it’s really helped me to get through these difficult times. Annie is an excellent teacher. She knows what she’s doing, she’s very kind, and her classes are awesome. I strongly recommend her to people from all over the world for a great work-out, to bring peace to their life and try new stuff.

I took one to one classes during my summer holidays. Most of the time we spend talking as I wanted to improve my fluency, but we also revised grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary and English expressions. After, we continued with online skype classes, as I had to go back to my hometown. I highly recommend Anne, not just because she is very prepared and gives you all the facilities, but also because she makes it easy and entertaining to learn. It seems like you are talking to a friend. She is the sweetest!

Attending Annie's yoga classes was such a joy. The vinyasa flows were the perfect mix of easy & challenging. She's caring, interactive, knowledgeable and even took the time to research and share alternative stretches for my injury. Her calming voice and great music taste are a definite plus, too.
